Curtain wall category
According to the structural form of the frame, curtain walls can be divided into four types: open frame curtain walls, hidden frame curtain walls, point type curtain walls, and full glass curtain walls.
Exposed frame curtain wall
A type of curtain wall in which the frame of the exposed frame curtain wall protrudes from the surface of the glass. It can be divided into three types: horizontally exposed and vertically concealed, horizontally concealed and vertically exposed, and fully exposed.
Hidden frame curtain wall
Hidden frame curtain wall, as the name suggests, means that the frame body cannot be seen on the outer facade, and the frame material is on the inner side of the glass, which is bonded to the glass through structural adhesive.
Point curtain wall
Point curtain walls are relatively easy to understand. Glass and the main structure are connected through claw points, and the main structure includes steel columns, cables, trusses, etc. The price of point curtain walls is considered the most expensive among these forms.
Full glass curtain wall
The aesthetics and integrity of a full glass curtain wall are the highest, and it uses glass ribs as a supporting structure to achieve a full facade glass structure. Compared to clear and hidden frames, the price of all glass is higher.
